- I'm a Kansas native but moved to Colorado 10 years ago to be near my daughter and grandson. I retired as a Comptroller of a meat packing plant after working at the same plant for 54 years. I wish I could go to college and major in the sciences. Since I can't I just read about everything on the internet. I LOVE the old Western Music so I listen to it a lot. I love classical music and listen to it too.

Interesting how important it was to our ancestors to show their homes and animals. We also have photos of farms, people and animals. I imagine they were sent to family members left behind in another town or state to show how successful the adventurers were.
