Merry Christmas to my Friends and Family

Another rapidly they come and go. I hope this finds you and your family in good health and/or recovering from any afflictions that seem to catch up with us as we get older.
I term the past year and a half as being "The Year That Was"! Ever since July, 2008 I've experienced a lifestyle that was new to me. But with all your prayers and the Grace of God, the prayers were answered. I'm on the road to recovery. Yep, I've shed the casts, the wheel chair and am about ready to shed the walker also. I've healed from the broken bones in my left leg, healed from the triple bypass surgery in my right leg, healed from the Diabetic Pressure Ulcers (3 of them), avoided the amputation of my right leg, and with the Lord's healing and guidance, I am LIBERATED from the two hospitals and three rehab therapy centers. Yes, I am HOME to stay. I'm able to attend meals at the Senior Center (Golden Age Center) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's good to be out and visit with people and socialize!
I am a FREE MAN. Thus, my friends, again I thank you for your prayers and wish you all a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year!

You can certainly teach everyone a thing or two about counting your blessings, Ernie, and may you have many more blessings in the coming year!

Ernie, I wish you well. I see that you haven't posted in a month, so I hope that just means that you're feeling too good to sit in front of a computer.

P.S, I love them old cowboy songs!
